Purdue University Graduate – Class of 1983

WHS Girls Basketball Volunteer Varsity/JV Assistant Coach – 2013 - Present

Coach Martin grew up in Indiana and was a 4-sport athlete at Washington Twp HS, becoming the first All-State athlete in the school’s history. He went on to run Cross Country and Track for the Purdue Boilermakers. Coach Martin has coached for over 20 years at the youth, club, select and high school levels for both Basketball and Softball. He has been privileged to be part of a U16 National Champion, and U18 Nationally #12 ranked Softball team – but career highlights have been the 2015 and 2018 WHS State Basketball Championship teams. He has enjoyed watching over 25 young ladies he coached continue on to compete at the collegiate level in basketball or softball.
